Dryads are shy nymphs or spirits who live in trees. They are guardians of the forests, each one deeply linked to the tree that she lives in.
These nymphs hold strong power over plants, particularly the trees, and can call on the energies within wood. They are powerful mortal goddesses who can make plants grow, and transform an acorn into a towering oak within seconds.
THE DRYADŲ FOREST
Forests are mysterious and beautiful places, full of wonder. They are amazing ecosystems, providing a home to hundreds of animals, insects, plants, and fungi. They are also the lungs of the earth, trapping and storing huge amounts of the greenhouse gases that humanity keeps creating.
We are planting trees for all Platforma EKO projects and you be part of it…
Buy web hosting from S4 – we’ll plant a tree, subscribe to TS – we’ll plant a tree, publish an article on Eko Diena, you guessed it, we’ll plant a tree.
This year we will start creating the Dryadų Forest in Lithuania, but in the meantime we are donating to other tree planting projects around the planet. Dryadų Forest is a bit like a company with an office but also remote workers around the world – a distributed forest if you like.
